This little penguin went to market... this little one went too...
..and neither of them are to come all the way home...
...not with me anyway! These little guys are for the Made on the Left Market. The penguin popped into my dreams the other night and I woke up and drew a pattern and this is how it turned out. I also had a dream that I was on holiday with my husband on a tropical beach... wish I could make that dream come true too!! It's funny this penguin was in my dream - I think I've been doing so much crafting lately that now I'm dreaming about it. Pity I can't actually do the crafting while I'm asleep though as I feel like I'm fast running out of time! Ah well - it's all a good experience and I am really enjoying working towards something and actually finishing some of the crafty things I've imagined making. Am loking forward to seeing what other crafty WA people have created too. Hurrah!
I love them!!! They have the cutest beaks - I would snap 'em up in a jiffy if i was at the market!

They are adorable! You absolutely should be making cute little creatures full-time.

I know what you mean about the dreaming thing...sometimes when I'm in yoga class and supposed to be meditating I see images of quilts and stitching lines and threads and yarn...I just about NEVER actually meditate! But at least I fill my journal with lots of ideas. If only I had the time and energy to make them all!!
