Hello,
Thanks for the lovely comment you left on my blog, I have just been having a good look at yours and was over whelmed by the door mouse house, it is one of the most beautiful doll/mouse house I have ever seen !
My favourite book shop in London is
http://www.magmabooks.com/content/service/shops.asp
I like the Covent garden one and a few doors down they have opened a cool gift shop
lots of inspiring art books, but I'm not sure about craft books.
Have an amazing trip, the weather is stunning at the mo, I hope it lasts.

Any of the big galleries have great bookshops, the one at the tate modern is my fave. And I second Mandy - magma covent garden is great. You should also go to VV rouleux (in London) for ribbons and trim. http://www.vvrouleaux.com/index/page.asp?page_no=5
It's expensive, but worth it for the experience, it's amazing. Trim heaven!(the marylebone shop is my fave)
The area around montmartre in Paris is worth a trip, plenty of fabric shops, and generally lovely.
Have a brilliant time, but be prepared for an expensive trip!!!

Katie

it's lovely to 'meet' you too!!!
have a fantastic trip!
Hope you post lots of great photos when you get back (and some of your 'new' house too!)

I just love those flights when you get stuck with the kids behind who have legs just long enough to stretch and dig into the seat in front of them (yours). Aye aye aye!

Have a great trip. Springtime in London is SO SO beautiful. Apart from all that fun shopping and sight seeing, Kew Gardens is a lovely escape if you you have time to relax and smell the flowers. Bluebells in the wooded area and daffodils... and squirrels... And Windsor is lovely... Don't forget the camera!

Yep. Seriously jealous.

oh how exciting - double exciting - finally a finished house, and a beautiful trip overseas. I am jealous on both counts as we are at the beginning of building and a trip away is unforseeable!! Have an unreal time and soak everything in.
